Ian Wallace
Double D International Sales Support and Marketing Manager
Since the acquisition of the Double D brand by JBT FoodTech in 2009, Ian has been working with regional country managers to grow sales of the Double D range of equipment outwith the UK. He is also responsible for marketing of the Double D brand globally. Prior to the acquisition, Ian worked for Double D Food Engineering for over 20 years, becoming sales and marketing director in 1994.

Alec Wilson
Engineering Manager
Prior to the acquisition by JBT FoodTech, Alec worked for Double D Food Engineering for most of his career, completing his apprenticeship in 1979 at Cox Denholm Bakery Engineers, Double D's predecessor. Since then, he has progressed from workshop foreman to engineering manager. His key responsibilities are to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the drawing office, including the effective co-ordination of employees, materials, documentation and all aspects of design.

Operations Manager
Bill has over 20 years' experience in operations management and a proven track record in material and resource planning, as well as production management. His key responsibility is to oversee all aspects of manufacturing, procurement, product delivery and quality, in addition to driving a continuous improvement ethos throughout the company.

John Kelso
Double D Product Line Manager
John’s background is in automation and control systems, having joined Double D from leading global manufacturers, Schneider Electric and Wonderware. John designed the latest generation of Double D equipment controllers and network products. He now has technical responsibility for the specification of the entire product range, working closely with the engineering team to ensure Double D’s development path matches changes in market demand, and meets customer requirements.

Vincent Glennon
After Market Manager
Vincent is a key contact in managing day-to-day aspects of customer support. This includes process improvements, service enquiries, part pricing, product upgrades, spare parts supply chain, the introduction of new service contracts and customer training requirements. Vincent was formerly technical services manager for Teknek, a yield improvement provider for the electronics industry in Glasgow.

Ian Burns
Food Processing Development Engineer
Ian has been with Double D for over 23 years and is responsible for managing the Test Centre, where he supervises customers’ product cook and bake trials. He also provides technical support for other Double D departments, customers and sales agents both in the UK and overseas, and in-house or on-site training for customers on Double D’s full range of products.

Arran MacKay
Systems Engineer
Arran works closely with engineering manager, Alex Wilson, and technical sales manager, John Kelso. He is responsible for designing and implementing Double D's PLC control systems, ensuring that all features and functionality are fully integrated and working efficiently. Arran joined Double D in 2008 having worked previously for Rolls-Royce, which manufactures parts for land, sea and air applications.

Gillian Watt
Customer Service Administrator
Gillian is the first point of contact for processing routine requests. She manages and schedules service enquiries instantly by pinpointing the position and availability of the nearest service engineer using a Global Positioning System and making arrangements for him to call. She also routes spare part enquiries through an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure same day dispatch.
