Servicing
We believe that Double D’s servicing and support back-up is unrivalled in the UK in that cover is available 24/7 every day of the year, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We have a team of six engineers working in the field at all times, and if you have a problem our objective is to tackle the job within 48 hours.
Our engineers are intentionally sited so they are never more than 100 miles away from a job at any one time – no matter where it is in the UK – and they will stay on site until the problem is solved.
We also offer servicing packages, which include regular maintenance visits and annual servicing. As 95% of Double D’s equipment is gas-fired, annual servicing is a legal requirement, so our service team can take the responsibility of managing all requirements, leaving you to focus on the bigger picture.
Technical Support and Training
Achieving consistently good results from its baking and processing equipment has always been a key aim for Double D, which has recently enhanced and expanded its training opportunities.
A range of training programmes is available either at the Food Technology Centre near Edinburgh, or on site at customers’ premises. The one or two day courses target different personnel levels including operators, product development specialists and engineers.
The aim is to ensure that customers are aware of a product’s full capabilities to gain maximum benefit and ensure continuity of customers’ product knowledge.
Training programmes can also be tailored to suit particular food lines or recipes.
